Andre Isler is the manager and former owner of Isler’s, a corner store in the Fairfax district. Andre’s family opened Isler’s in 1972, after retiring from the navy.
When Andre’s parents retired for good, Andre took over, managing the store until he retired—well, sort of.
Andre recently decided to come back part-time.
Andre is the former President of CalPac, an Oakland-based group of organized corner store owners, a member of Saba’s board, and a respected leader and elder in our community.
