Lina Ghanem (she/her)

Director and Founder

Lina Ghanem is the Executive Director of Saba. Lina comes to food systems work with a background of public health research and policy. Motivated by personal health conditions related to diet and sugar consumption, she organized store owners to support the Soda Tax in 2019. Lina has previously worked on a research grant funded by the National Institute of Health investigating operations of Alcohol and Tobacco industries in corner stores. Lina has published a number of peer-reviewed articles on this subject.
