We’ve developed closed-loop financial rewards cards (valid at 26 local grocery stores and corner stores) to create demand for healthy products and incentivize produce sales in corner stores. Over the past year, we’ve distributed 1,000 Saba Food Cards of $250—96% of which have been redeemed—and we plan to distribute 10,000 more over the next 2 years, prioritizing people on the margins of government/formal support systems.
